GovExec Daily: A Pay Freeze and Schedule F Update

In a November 30 letter to Senator Richard Shelby, OMB chief Russell Vought confirmed that the White House supports a civilian pay freeze as proposed in the Senate’s omnibus spending bill. Vought cited budgetary constraints, particularly in light of the pandemic. The news about the freeze comes on the heels of a fall and winter of Schedule F-related news around the administration, as well as President Donald Trump’s November election loss.
