The Biden administration on Friday released a 58-page outline of the White House’s fiscal 2022 federal budget proposal. Acting OMB director Shalanda Young noted on Friday “four compounding crises of unprecedented scope and scale all at the same time,” in introducing the 16% increase in non-defense discretionary spending that the budget calls for.
