Play of the Day: Lindsey Graham Did Not Do The Required Reading
The South Carolinian did not read the full Mueller Report.
President Donald Trump went on a Twitter frenzy on Wednesday morning, posting more than 60 tweets and retweets in under an hour. The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joked about the news, saying Trump was later seen with "tiny ice packs on each thumb."
Attorney General William Barr testified about the Mueller Report summary letter in the Senate on Wednesday. At one point, he defended his summary letter by saying that once Robert Mueller sent the report to the Justice Department, it was then "my baby." Late Show's Stephen Colbert joked about the metaphor by noting Barr's resemblance to the baby on the show Dinosaurs. Fallon also joked about Barr's look, saying that he looked like "undercover Elton John." During the hearing, Senator Lindsey Graham talked about the length of the report and bragged that he had not read the "four hundred and some pages." Conan O'Brien joked that Graham was waiting for the movie, while Fallon joked that "a Cracker Barrel menu" was the only thing Graham has ever read cover-to-cover.
