Play of the Day: The American President Tweets About Iran
Trump wrote that another threat from Tehran will be the "official end of Iran."
According to a new poll, Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders are tied in Iowa at 24%. Late Night's Seth Meyers joked about the poll, saying that it was the first time the two senior citizens were close to one another since they "shared that balcony."
President Donald Trump tweeted a threat at Iran this week, writing "If Iran wants to fight, that will be the official end of Iran. Never threaten the United States again!" Meyers tied the tweet to the Game of Thrones finale, saying Iran's end would "definitely would be the second-worst ending of the week," while The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joked that Trump "woke up on the wrong side of the tanning bed." Late Show's Stephen Colbert joked about Trump's about-face on war in the last two weeks, saying Trump said "All I am saying is 'give peace a chance.' It's been 24 hours? Fire at will!"
