Because of a recent salmonella outbreak, the CDC recommended that those with pet chickens be careful if they dress the birds up in Halloween costumes. Late Night's Seth Meyers joked about the news, suggesting that some chicken owners might want to do other things with their pets.
After a series of explosive devices were sent to critics and political rivals of President Donald Trump -- including the Clintons, Barack Obama, CNN and Rep. Maxine Waters -- the president condemned the attacks (but also blamed the media). Late Show's Stephen Colbert presented a fake sketch of the suspect: The Unabomber sketch with a MAGA hat, while The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joked that Trump evacuated to a golf course, just to be safe. Full Frontal's Samantha Bee showed a clip of Trump condemning the attacks, then joked that Trump may have claimed "Crooked" Hillary Clinton is in ISIS a minute after the show taped, no one should blame Full Frontal for missing it.
