Play of the Day: Mr. Pope Goes to Washington

John Boehner cried, the pontiff ate with the homeless and everyone was interested in the Catholic leader.

Donald Trump announced this week that he would not appear on Fox News for the foreseeable future, citing unfair coverage of his campaign. Thursday night, The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon tied Trump's stance to Barack Obama's treatment on the network, while Late Night's Seth Meyers joked that everyone could catch Trump on just about every other place on TV.

Pope Francis spoke to Congress Wednesday, speaking about the environment and immigration. The Argentine's accent confounded some watching, so Stephen Colbert cleared up something important about Catholics: They do not speak in tongues. After the speech, the pontiff ate with D.C.'s homeless, causing Colbert and Meyers to joke about members of Congress and their collective penchant for fundraising.
