Taking cues from Willie Nelson, Washington-connected celebrities are releasing their own personal marijuana brands.
A Justice Department report released last week noted issues with sexual misconduct by Drug Enforcement Agency staff including sex parties with prostitutes hired by drug cartels. Saturday Night Live's Michael Che and Real Time's Bill Maher connected this latest news to similar issues in South America featuring Secret Service members.
With recreational marijuana becoming legal in more jurisdictions in the United States, country music legend Willie Nelson is going to start selling his own branded weed. The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon found three DC-connected famous people who have their own such brands, including the former owner of the Washington Wizards and his golfing partner, the president.
