How to Watch the Government Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

A week from now, we’ll honor some of government’s all-time greats—and then some current all-stars.

One week from today, GovExec will honor this year’s class of inductees into the Government Hall of Fame. Its members include the first Treasury Secretary, the first career civil servant, a hugely important environmentalist and the current head of the Smithsonian Institution. The virtual ceremony will be broadcast live. Here are the details:

CBS News’s Major Garrett will be the host of the festivities and Office of Personnel Management Director Kiran Ahuja will deliver the keynote address. Hall of Fame inductees and other prominent speakers also will be featured during the broadcast.

Beginning the week of Oct. 25, GovExec will showcase this year’s winners of the Theodore Roosevelt Government Leadership Awards during a five-part digital event series. They represent agencies ranging from NASA to the Census Bureau.
