GovExec Daily: Cabinet Progress and the Tanden Nomination

Courtney Bublé joins the show to discuss how President Joe Biden's nominees – including his controversial OMB pick – have fared so far.

Joe Biden’s presidency is a little over a month old and his nominees for top administration are making their way to Senate committees. Neera Tanden, his choice to lead the Office of Management and Budget, recently appeared before hearings, but the two Senate committees this week postponed their votes on Tanden after four Senators indicated they would not vote for her confirmation. This makes the math for Tanden precarious, the first major speedbump for Biden’s nominees so far.

Courtney Bublé is covering the cabinet confirmation process and she joined the podcast to discuss the Tanden delay and the overall Cabinet progress.
