Pentagon wants better service from movers
The Pentagon and moving companies are involved in a battle over problems in shipping military families' household goods, the Washington Post reports.
Moving companies are lobbying on Capitol Hill against a measure that would let the Defense Department test a new contracting system under which it would choose shippers on a "best value," rather than lowest-cost, basis.
