GovExec Daily: How Feds are Burning Out During the Pandemic

Eagle Hill Consulting's David Witkowski joins the podcast to discuss his firm's survey results on how public servants are working during the crisis and handling the stress of COVID-19.

It’s been nearly a full year of  widespread telework, lockdowns and upheaval in society thanks to the coronavirus pandemic. The strain the COVID-19 crisis has put on the workforce has been great, both in the public and private sectors. Many of us are feeling at the end of our ropes, due to stress, overwork and other factors.

Eagle Hill Consulting is a firm that works with the private, public, and nonprofit sectors. Eagle Hill surveyed federal employees in December on burnout during the quarantine period for their Eagle Hill Consulting Federal Employee Experience Survey.  David Witkowski is the public service industry lead with Eagle Hill. He joined GovExec Daily to discuss the findings in the survey and how burnout is affecting feds.
