GovExec Daily: The Census Deadline

Eric Katz joins the podcast to discuss the Census Bureau's work on the 2020 count.

Because of the barrage of news this year, you might be excused from knowing that the decennial census is going on. The novel coronavirus pandemic has thrown a wrench into the count, as it was supposed to be over by Oct 1. 

The deadline came and went, with lawsuits keeping the count going for enumerators and the Bureau. Eric Katz  is covering the 2020 census and he joined the program to talk about its status.
