Play of the Day: The President Needs Support From 'Rupublicans'
Donald Trump did some work to get to his latest typo on Twitter.
President Donald Trump tweeted an edited photo of a Medal of Honor ceremony to include the dog lauded for its role in the raid that resulted in the death of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the ISIS leader. Late Late Show's James Corden joked about the news, saying that Trump is whispering to the dog "you know, a doctor can get you out of military service, right?"
Trump once again tweeted a typo in writing about the impeachment inquiry, this time imploring his party to support him by writing "Rupublicans, go with Substance and close it out!" Corden joke that Trump tried to clarify and typed "Sorry, Rub Pelicans. Damnit!" while Jimmy Kimmel joked that autocorrect is so strong that Trump is "so obstinate that he won't even admit that he's wrong to his phone." Late Show's Stephen Colbert joked that Trump was just trying to promote a new TV show: Rupublican's Drag Race.
