A mouse fell from the ceiling of the White House press room onto a reporter on Tuesday, causing a stir among the journalists there. Late Night's Seth Meyers joked about the news, saying the mouse was Stephen Miller's lunch.
According to reports, President Donald Trump pushed the Prime Minister Scott Morrison of Australia to aid in discrediting the Mueller report during a phone call. Late Late Show's James Corden joked about the news, saying that Australia is "our cool, laid-back friend" who you ask to "DJ your pool party," while Late Show's Stephen Colbert joked that Trump asked "Listen, you guys are 14 hours in the future. What did I tweet tomorrow?"
Sources confirmed Secretary of State Mike Pompeo was subpoenaed in connection to Congressional investigations after reports confirmed that he was on the controversial call with Ukrainian leadership. Corden joked that Pompeo looks like "a high school football coach who has just been forced to let a girl join the team," while Meyers joked that Pompeo was the voice on the call with Volodymyr Zelensky saying "Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!" whenever Trump talked.
