Lucy Flores, a former Nevada candidate for lt. governor, wrote an essay recently that recounts how former Vice President Joe Biden inappropriately sniffed her hair and kissed her head during a campaign event in 2014. Late Night's Seth Meyers joked about the news, saying that Biden's excuse was "I never treated her any differently than I treated President Obama."
President Donald Trump again threatened to shut down the border with Mexico recently due to the immigration situation. Late Show's Stephen Colbert joked about the news, saying that the timing is curious and will make American Spring Breakers vacation at the wall, while The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joked that Trump will hire the CEOs of Payless, Sears and Blockbuster because they know about shutting something down. Meyers also joked that Americans don't understand big issues, noting that the border shutdown has to be explained to Americans in terms of avocados, joking that Americans will call for impeachment if we were to run out of the fruit.
