Play of the Day: A New Conspiracy Theory In Washington

Donald Trump denied a recent theory that his wife has a body double.

President Donald Trump tweeted about a Jay Leno interview on Wednesday, writing "comedy (on the very boring late night shows) is totally one-sided. It’s tough when there’s only one topic." Late-night hosts joked about the news, with Late Show's Stephen Colbert comparing Trump's trustworthiness to that of the Boeing 737 Max and Jimmy Kimmel running down a list of funny or odd things about the Trump administration.

Trump also tweeted on Wednesday about a conspiracy theory that has been making the rounds, writing that the press "propelled conspiracy theories that it’s actually not [Melania] by my side in Alabama and other places. Kimmel joked about the news, saying that Melania said "I wish it was a body double" and joked about the Pizzagate conspiracy theory that dominated Trump supporters in 2016.
