Play of the Day: Will the Mueller Investigation End Soon?
CNN is reporting that next week could see the release.
Senator Bernie Sanders announced this week that his campaign raised millions of dollars in the day since he announced he was running for president. Late Night's Seth Meyers joked about the news, saying that's "terrible for the guy behind him at CoinStar."
According to CNN, the Justice Department is preparing for the completion of Robert Mueller's investigation as soon as next week. Late Late Show's James Corden joked about the news, saying he is anticipating, after all the waiting, "absolutely nothing is going to change" because of the report and joked that Mueller can finally go back to his job as a Sam the Eagle lookalike. Late Show's Stephen Colbert noted President Donald Trump's terms for the investigation, calling it a "witch hunt," "hoax" and a "Frankenstein jamboree," noting that only one of those is made up.
