President Donald Trump spoke to the New York Times late last week and said that his hometown newspaper's coverage should be softer because "I'm sort of entitled to a great story from my — just one, from my newspaper." Late Show's Stephen Colbert joked about the statement and said, in a Trump impersonation, that "Why won't the failing, lying, enemy of the people be my friend?"

According to a tell-all book from a former White House staffer, Trump likes to give supporters tours of the White House and says some inaccurate things. Late Night's Seth Meyers joked about Trump's tours of the Lincoln Bedroom, while Late Show's Stephen Colbert joked that Trump's tours of the Oval Office were shape-intensive and very inaccurate.
