President Donald Trump traveled to the border on Thursday to take stock of the "crisis." In justifying his wall concept to stop immigration, Trump spuriously claimed that walls are older than wheels and both work as well now as they did in ancient times. Late Show's Stephen Colbert joked about the ancient inventions, referencing Commerce Secretary's age in his joke.
Before leaving for the border, Trump told reporters that the wall would be better than camera or drones and he, the man who bragged about not using email, knows because he is "a professional at technology." Jimmy Kimmel joked that "no one knows more about technology than a guy who butt-dials Lou Dobbs from his Jitterburg phone," while Late Night's Seth Meyers joked that Trump doesn't even know the umbrella technology while referencing the famed video of the president getting onto Air Force One.
