Play of the Day: Updating the Mission Formerly Known As 'Operation Faithful Patriot'

James Mattis says he doesn't "anticipate military personnel coming in direct contact with migrants,"

President Donald Trump posthumously awarded a Presidential Medal of Freedom to MLB icon Babe Ruth last week. The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joked about the news, saying he was a "legend" because it was "his idea to combine peanut, caramel and nougat."

The administration's plan to send troops to the U.S.-Mexico border was originally named "Operation Faithful Patriot," but the Defense Department has largely abandoned calling it that. Late Show's Stephen Colbert joked about the news, comparing it to calling the man known as "The Rock" something like Dwayne "The Guy" Johnson. Pentagon chief James Mattis told reporters that he doesn't "anticipate military personnel coming in direct contact with migrants," prompting Colbert to point out that the migrant caravan is many miles away and joked that it would be like Paul Revere yelling "The no one is coming" on his midnight ride.
