The leaked Michael Cohen tape has an odd moment when the future president asks for refreshment.
President Donald Trump's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame was destroyed this week by a man with an axe. Late Night's Seth Meyers joked about the news, saying he expected the vandal to be a woman with a pantsuit.
The president's former lawyer Michael Cohen taped Trump in a conversation about making a payment to prevent the story of an affair with Playboy model Karen McDougal and the tape was leaked this week. The tape appears to prove that Trump knew about the payment, which he denied, prompting Late Show's Stephen Colbert to joke that the White House has to reset the "It's been __ days since our last lie" to zero. One of the quirks of the tape is that Trump interrupts Cohen to seemingly yell "Get me a Coke, please!" to someone else in the room. The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joked that Melania Trump was in the other room with a shaken can, saying "Just a second, honey." Colbert's staff also put together a tape of President Richard Nixon asking for a Tab on the Watergate tapes.
