Play of the Day: Some White House Nicknames Are Better Than Others

Hope Hicks, President Donald Trump’s communications director, announced last week that she is stepping down from her position in the White House. Saturday Night Live's Colin Jost joked about the news, noting that it's probably pretty bad at the White House if a 29-year-old looks at it and says "I gotta get out of this dead-end job."

According to the Michael Wolff book on the Trump White House, the president's daughter and son-in-law are sometimes referred to as "Javanka." The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joked about the nickname and came up with some other paired White House staffers' nicknames like the Wilbur Ross/Sonny Perdue "Sonny Bu Bu" nickname and "Devoncé" as a combo of Betsy DeVos and Mike Pence.
