Play of the Day: Donald Trump's Feud With Bob Corker Escalates
The president took to Twitter to crack on the Tennessee senator.
A protestor threw Russian flags at President Donald Trump on Tuesday and yelled "Trump is treason" while being thrown out. Late Night's Seth Meyers connected the news to the 2016 election, joking that the protestor went straight back to her What Happened book tour.
Tennessee Republican Senator Bob Corker was all over television and Twitter on Tuesday, saying Trump is "debasing" his office, that the White House is an "adult day care center" and that Trump "has great difficulty with the truth." The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joked that Trump was drinking a juice box when he heard about the day care center comment, while Conan O'Brien joked that toddlers everywhere didn't want to be associated with the White House. Late Show's Stephen Colbert joked about Trump's angry tweets in response to Corker, noting that the president misspelled Corker's home state in one tweet and used a weirdly placed apostrophe in another.
