Donald Trump is set to be inaugurated as the 45th president of the United States next month and more and more his business dealings are emerging each day. Last summer. a 2002 video was unearthed of Trump appearing in an advertisement opposite Grimace, the purple McDonald's mascot. Late Night's Seth Meyers joked about Grimace's wordless reaction to Trump in the ad, comparing it to the nation's reactions to Trump's election.
The president-elect's Twitter presence is back in the news as members of his staff are saying his Twitter account will be a "direct pipeline in the American people." Desus and Mero joked about Trump's 2012 tweet against the Electoral College and the irony of his November victory there. Meyers joked about Trump's spelling error in his tweet about the incident involving an American underwater drone seized by Chinese officials, joking about the universal spellcheck "red line" online.
