Agencies in Washington Open With Unscheduled Leave, Telework

Federal agencies in the Washington area are open Tuesday, the Office of Personnel Management announced, but employees have the option of taking unscheduled leave or telework.

The announcement came early Tuesday morning, as a winter storm with a mix of rain and snow moved through the region.

Emergency employees are expected to report to work on time.
