On the last Friday before the election, CNN is giving both Barack Obama and Mitt Romney a chance to spell out their "vision for America." The two presidential candidates were each givens a spot on the network's website to deliver written stump speeches as they make their final push to voters. Published with the same headline under rather ominous looking photos of the nominees, the pieces are basically a closing argument for each campaign about why you should vote for them and not the other guy.

The question is if anyone will bother to read them. If you've been paying attention, you can probably guess what each one has to say. If you haven't been paying attention, you'll probably never see them and are unlikely to be swayed by an essay contest. On the other hand, it does give supporters a handy last link to share with all their friends—who they hope won't see the other one.
