No criminal charges for former Commerce secretary after traffic accidents

Los Angeles County prosecutors have opted not to file criminal charges against former Commerce Secretary John Bryson, The Associated Press reported Tuesday.
 
Bryson stepped down on June 21 after taking a short medical leave of absence following several traffic accidents he said were the result of a seizure he suffered. He was found unconcious in his car. 
 
Los Angeles County prosecutors considered evidence presented by the San Gabriel police before declining to file felony hit-and-run charges, AP said.
