DAILY BRIEFING
Military pay tables released
Military service members can see how much money they'll be taking home next year, after a 3.6 percent raise takes effect in January.
The raise has not yet been officially authorized by President Clinton. The President will issue an executive order by the end of the year.
The Defense Department has released the military pay table for 1999, along with the reserve drill pay tables and the basic allowance for subsistence rates.
You can view the tables here on GovExec.com.
