Transportation authorities across the U.S. have been making important strides in sensor and camera technology for decades, but we’re now in the midst of a watershed moment: several emerging technologies are converging to bring about transformative change to highway safety and mobility in a movement known as Connected Vehicles (CVs). To learn more about state efforts to connect and communicate with vehicles on the road, Government Business Council (GBC) interviewed state transportation leaders from Ohio, Hawaii, Maine, Colorado, and Virginia in December of 2019 and January of 2020.
