As the new coronavirus has spread across the globe, so has speculative and deceptive information about its origins, how it infects people, and what can be done to protect against it. While social media giants like Facebook and Twitter can try to moderate videos spreading bad information, the claims are already in the wind.

Dr. Diana Daly is an Assistant Professor of Information at the University of Arizona and she joined the podcast to talk about how bad information and conspiracy theories spread online about the pandemic.
