Eliminating the triumvirate of waste, fraud and abuse in government is a cause in which most Americans believe, but the actual nuts and bolts of wasteful spending specifically can be hard to quantify. The group Citizens Against Government Waste annually enumerates what it considers to be the worst in pork barrel spending in its Congressional Pig Book, the most recent of which was released last week.
