GovExec Daily: The Toll of Ineffective COVID-19 Protections at Federal Facilities

Christina Suthammanont joins the podcast to discuss the story of her husband's death after she believes he contracted the coronavirus from his workplace.

The White House COVID-19 outbreak has reinforced that the pandemic can spread easily in workplaces if proper safety protocols are not in place. But federal policy for agency workplaces is scattershot, even this late into the pandemic.

Christina Suthammanont is a Senior Associate with Grant Thornton Public Sector and her post on our site,  “Federal Workplaces Aren’t Safe — My Husband Died After Contracting COVID-19 in One” recounts her family’s experience with the disease. The House passed a bill named after her husband Chai recently and she joined the show to tell her story and talk about workplace safety at federal workplaces.
