GovExec Daily: The Pandemic IG's Nomination is a 'Rorschach Test'

Courtney Bublé joins the podcast to discuss the reaction to the initial confirmation hearings for Brian Miller, President Donald Trump's nominee to be Special Inspector General for Pandemic Recovery.

The office of the Special Inspector General for Pandemic Recovery was codified in the CARES Act to oversee the trillions of dollars in relief that has gone and will go to individuals, businesses, governments and agencies impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. President Donald Trump nominated Brian D. Miller to head the IG office overseeing the recovery money after Miller's time as Associate White House Counsel and Deputy Assistant to the President.

Miller’s first confirmation hearing last week drew mixed reviews from Senators and experts. Courtney Bublé is covering the Miller confirmation hearings and the reaction to them and she joined the podcast to discuss the reaction to Miller, both in and out of the Senate.
