President Donald Trump's administration is trying to enact “safe third country” agreements with Mexico and Guatemala in order to halt the number of people claiming asylum at the U.S. border. Full Frontal's Samantha Bee last week joked about the safety of Mexico and Guatemala, comparing it to someone trying to get the Hamburglar to protect your hamburgers.
Many mobile phone users have been using an app called FaceApp that ages up photos of young people to make them look like they are decades older. While the app has some concerned because the Russian-devloped app has expansive terms of use, people have been posting their FaceApp-transformed photos all over social media. Late-night hosts Jimmy Kimmel and The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joked about the app, putting up photos fo 2020 candidates and bit players and jokingly putting up older versions, including Vladimir Putin as a Harry Potter villain, Beto O'Rourke's older self being Joe Biden and the elderly Bernie Sanders aging up to a pile of dust.
