Play of the Day: There Are An Awful Lot of Democrats Running For Presidents
Rep. Eric Swallwell joined an already-crowded primary field this week.
Attorney General William Barr testified before Congress on Tuesday about the Mueller Report and mentioned that the full report will be released soon, complete with color-coded redactions. The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joked about the news, saying that Donald Trump Jr. is excited because he'll be the one doing the coloring.
Rep. Eric Swallwell joined the Democratic primary field this week, bringing the number of candidates up to 18. Fallon joked that the Democrats only need one more candidate for a TLC reality show, while Conan O'Brien joked that President Donald Trump truly showed Democrats that anyone can be president. Late Night's Seth Meyers joked about the size of the field, showing video from a penguin colony and saying "here is everyone who's running so far," while O'Brien also joked that Red Lobster is running an all-you-can-eat promotion for anyone who's announced.
