According to a recent report, President Donald Trump's 2020 campaign is targeting older Americans on Facebook by using nativist language. Late Show's Stephen Colbert joked about the news, saying that Trump uses nativist language for everything, including when he orders his dinner with American cheese.
Former Vice President Joe Biden joined the 2020 race last week and later said that he former President Barack Obama told him that he wasn't going to endorse anyone. The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joked about the news, saying it's not good when Obama looks at 20 candidates and says "eh, pass." The Daily Show's Trevor Noah joked about Biden's record on LGBTQ rights, saying that Biden was early on trans right but he may have been thinking about trains. Conan O'Brien noted that polls show that many Democratic voters think Biden has the best chance to beat Trump in 2020, but joked that second place was "heart disease."
