Play of the Day: Trump Came Home From Vietnam With No Deal

The president walked away instead of capitulating to Kim Jong-un

According to a new study, watching television for more than three and a half hours a day has a negative affect on memory. Late Night's Seth Meyers joked about the study, saying President Donald Trump may be affected by his television viewing.

Trump came back from his summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un without a deal to denuclearize the Hermit Kingdom. Despite the setback, Trump said he and Kim get along great, prompting The Daily Show's Trevor Noah to joke that Kim is perfect for Trump because the president's best relationships are with "people half his age who don't speak English." Trump said that the deal didn't happen because "sometimes you have to walk," prompting Conan O'Brien to joke that Trump's pedometer now reads 14 steps. Jimmy Kimmel joked about the summit, joking about Dennis Rodman's unsolicited letter and also saying that Trump "got more done in his summit with Kim Kardashian than Kim Jong-un."
