Play of the Day: Comparing Hand Gestures From the Oval Office

Democratic hopeful Beto O'Rourke has a lot of gesticulations, but so does President Donald Trump.

A goat names Lincoln won the mayoral race in Vermont recently and became an Internet sensation. The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joked about the news, saying that it makes sense that a Vermont town elected a goat mayor, considering its oldest goat is running for president again.

Former Congressman Beto O'Rourke announced that he is joining the crowded 2020 Democratic primary field last week in a Vanity Fair cover story and by holding events in Iowa. During one, he used his hands quite a bit, prompting Greg Gutfeld to joke that he looks like he's "conducting the London Philharmonic after freebasing a pound of cookie dough." President Donald Trump took note, saying in the Oval Office that O'Rouke has a "lot of hand movement," prompting late-night hosts to joke about Trump's gestures. Late Night's Seth Meyers joked that Trump looks like he's "playing an invisible accordion" every time he's in public, while The Tonight Show put together some of Trump's most animated hand movements.
