President Donald Trump tweeted on Thursday that he wants "5G, and even 6G, technology in the United States as soon as possible." Fallon joked about the news, saying that Trump also said that it was "nuthin' but a G thang," while Late Show's Stephen Colbert joked that Trump was having trouble with the White House WiFi and may have thought the 5G/6G paradigm was money to negotiate the silence of a paramour.
