Play of the Day: Yet Another Tell-All Book About the White House

There are more stories to mine from inside the administration.

President Donald Trump announced the end of the longest shutdown in American history on Friday. A three-week continuing resolution will provide for more budget negotiations, prompting Saturday Night Live's Colin Jost to say "we're basically treating our government like it's a trial subscription for Hulu."

Team of Vipers, new tell-all book by former White House aide Cliff Sims, will be released this week. One story Sims tells is that Trump wanted to get a man on Mars by the end of his first term, prompting Jimmy Kimmel to joke that he wants that man to be Trump. Sims also tells the story that Trump walked out of a meeting with former Speaker of the House Paul Ryan, possibly because Trump was bored. Late Late Show's James Corden joked about the news, saying "I hate to say it, but I have to side with Trump on this one," while Late Show's Stephen Colbert joked that Trump walked out of the room to watch Spongebob Squarepants.
