Play of the Day: The White House's Notes

John Bolton has his notepad, but what do the other members of the administration have?

President Donald Trump contradicted the intelligence community's findings on Twitter this week and had a series of misspellings in his tweets. Late Night's Seth Meyers joked about the news, making fun of the president's love for McDonald's.

National Security Advisor John Bolton's notes on a yellow note pad at a press briefing this week was clearly visible and said "5,000 troops to Colombia," prompting some to wonder if the U.S. was planning for more military intervention abroad. Jimmy Kimmel joked that Bolton maybe doesn't know that "'top secret' doesn't mean 'put your secret at the top,'" while Meyers joked about Bolton using a whole notepad for two lines of notes. The Tonight Show imagined what other members of the administration would have on their notepads, including a math equation from Betsy DeVos and a birthday reminder from Wilbur Ross.
