According to reports, President Donald Trump is considering taking Vice President Mike Pence off his 2020 reelection ticket. Late Show's Stephen Colbert joked about the news over the weekend, saying that Pence's strategy of being so "boring people forget you exist" didn't work this time.
Over the weekend, Trump announced that Chief of Staff John Kelly will be leaving the White House at the end of the year. Saturday Night Live's Colin Jost joked about the news, saying that Kelly was in the Marine Corps, including three trouts of Iraq, and could only last one tour of the Trump White House.
