President Donald Trump is under scrutiny for denying the deaths of thousands of Puerto Ricans in the aftermath of Hurricanes Irma and Maria. Late Night's Seth Meyers joked that Trump's tweets on the topic was so offensive, "the Twitter bird tried to distance himself."
According to reports, Trump is interested in firing Attorney General Jeff Sessions soon, but most Republicans are not interested in the job. Late Show's Stephen Colbert joked about the news, even having his staff put Rand Paul in disguise to emphasize the point. Colbert also noted the report that Trump privately calls James "Mad Dog" Mattis "Moderate Dog," and Colbert doing a Trump impression saying "ha ha, you're only moderately insane."
