Play of the Day: Trump's Day at the United Nations
The president got some unintentional laughs during his speech to the body.
The Secret Service's presidential limousine has been updated by General Motors and a new feature is that the vehicle contains a refrigerator full of President Donald Trump's blood in case of an emergency. Late Night's Seth Meyers joked about the feature, saying he assumed Trump's blood type is "chunky."
Trump was set to give a speech at the United Nations on Tuesday, but he ran late and Ecuador's president switched speaking timeslots with him. Late Show's Stephen Colbert joked about the news, pointing out that Trump is a lifetime New Yorker who should know how traffic is affected by the UN General Assembly being in session. During the speech, Trump said "In less than two years, my administration has accomplished more than almost any administration in the history of our country" and there was audible laughter in the room by the delegations. The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joked that Trump hasn't heard that kind of laughter since his night with Stormy Daniels, while Conan O'Brien joked that Trump was angry because he had just made a room full of foreigners happy.
