Play of the Day: Hurricane Florence Will Be 'Tremendously Big' and 'Tremendously Wet'

President Trump briefed reporters on the storm Tuesday.

Bob Woodward's book on President Donald Trump's administration is a best seller and even some customers lined up at bookstores in Washington at midnight to buy it. The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joked about the news, saying that First Lady Melania Trump was one of those in the line.

Trump held a briefing with FEMA officials on Tuesday to address preparations for Hurricane Florence's arrival. Trump said that the government's response to Hurricane Maria hitting Puerto Rico in 2017 was "an incredible, unsung success,” prompting Late Show's Stephen Colbert to not that the island was without full electricity for 11 months, so Puerto Ricans couldn't even plug into their mics to sing praises of the response. Trump also said Tuesday that Florence is "tremendously big and tremendously wet." Fallon joked that Trump is "building an ark and Mexico is going to pay for it," while Colbert joked that "tremendously big and tremendously wet" also describes a bed Trump once requested in Russia.
