President Donald Trump is in Europe for a a trip that will include a NATO summit and meeting with the Queen of England. Jimmy Kimmel joked about the news, saying that Trump's trip means he gets to insult our allies to their faces instead of on Twitter.
Trump made his prime time announcement of Brett Kavanaugh as his pick for the Supreme Court on Monday night. Conan O'Brien joked that Kavanaugh's previous writings on presidential immunity were written on a cake meant for Trump, while Kimmel joked that rumors of a secret deal with outgoing Justice Anthony Kennedy are unlikely because Trump can neither keep a secret nor close a deal. Kimmel also noted that Trump's Monday announcement interrupted the popular reality show The Bachelorette and showed some fans of the show's tweets about the president. One even said that she was so mad at Trump that she now understands "the holes white boys punch in walls."
