President Donald Trump met with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzō Abe on Thursday in Washington on Thursday. Conan O'Brien joked about the news, saying that Trump will only negotiate trade with Japan if Abe introduces him to Godzilla.
EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt's scandals continue to trickle out, including Pruitt using EPA staff to find him his favorite lotion, inquire about a used mattress from Trump properties and even use his government connections to get his wife a Chick-fil-A franchise. Late Show's Stephen Colbert joked about the scandals, putting up a graphic of the Chick-fil-A cows with signs saying "Be mor ethicul" and The Daily Show's Trevor Noah noting that the fast food scandal he was anticipating was Trump potentially pardoning the Hamburglar.
