Trump's nominee for Veterans Affairs has had his confirmation hearings postponed.
President Donald Trump held his first state dinner on Tuesday night in honor of France's Emmanuel Macron and served rack of lamb as the main course. The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joked about the news, saying "after Trump grabbed the rack, his lawyer had to pay it $130,000."
Trump's pick to lead the Veterans Affairs Department, Ronny Jackson, has had his confirmation hearings postponed after reports that Jackson overprescribed drugs, led a hostile work environment and was drunk on duty while traveling. Late Night's Seth Meyers joked about Jackson saying that it's not shocking that "a 51-year-old man named 'Ronny' would behave improperly. Joking about the physical Jackson administered to Trump, Conan O'Brien joked that Jackson's excuse about drinking on the job was "You'd drink too if you saw Donald Trump naked."
