During his trip to Puerto Rico this week, President Donald Trump seemed to have mixed up the Air Force and Coast Guard while meeting a representative of the former. Late Night's Seth Meyers joked about the news, saying Trump ordered ice cream from a Navy in white dress uniform.
Secretary of State Rex Tillerson held a press conference Wednesday to refute an NBC News report that he had called Trump a "moron" and had to be talked out of resignation by Vice President Mike Pence. The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joked that "nothing says 'pep' like a talk from Mike Pence" while Conan O'Brien joked that Pence's talk included the phrase "that moron needs you." Jimmy Kimmel joked that Tillerson saying he "won't deal with that kind of petty nonsense" suggests Tillerson definitely called Trump a "moron," while Late Show's Stephen Colbert joked that Tillerson isn't the only person saying that about Trump.
