Jimmy Kimmel has a new exercise to improve the president's tweets.
The United States men's national soccer team team will not participate in the upcoming World Cup tournament after losing to Trinidad and Tobago this week. The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joked about the news, suggesting President Donald Trump doesn't know what Trinidad and Tobago is, exactly.
Trump has renewed a call to crack down on media by tweeting "With all of the Fake News coming out of NBC and the Networks, at what point is it appropriate to challenge their License? Bad for country!" and saying "It’s frankly disgusting the way the press is able to write whatever they want to write and people should want to look into it," during a media availability with Canadian Prime Minster Justin Trudeau. Late Night's Seth Meyers and Late Show's Stephen Colbert joked that we did "look into it" and didn't have to look past the First Amendment of the Bill of Rights, while Fallon joked that any revocations his home network's license would really hurt fans of This Is Us. Jimmy Kimmel and his staff did a replacement exercise with Trump's tweets about the media, changing "fake" to "true" and "dishonest" to "honest," joking that it makes Trump's tweets much better.
